Tivoli Gardens is the second-oldest amusement park and pleasure garden in the world after Dyrehavsbakken in Klampenborg, Denmark.
The nicely landscaped gardens and a variety of rides and restaurants are said to be the inspiration for Walt Disney to do Disneyland.
Being very familiar with Disneyland and Walt Disney World, we found Tivoli Gardens a nice historical reference.
Being as old as it is, I guess it's only natural that it seemed a bit "old fashioned" and lacking in a lot of the vibrance and immediancy of Disney's parks.
We had an expensive and unmemorable meal at one of the restaurants.
I'm glad we got a chance to visit the historic park, but I probably would not pay to see it again.
